How do I refer someone?
Email is preferred (for a clear paper trail). You can also have the new client fill out the New Client Inquiry form on our website and include your name in the referral field. Text referrals are okay as well.

What counts as a “new client”?
A new client is someone who has never filed with NN Accounting before in any capacity (personal or business).

When does the new client get the $50 off?
The $50 discount is applied on the new client’s first invoice with NN Accounting.

When do I receive my referral reward or tier status?
Once the new client signs on, your referral is logged and your tier is added to your profile. If you reach a higher tier later (after you’ve already filed), any additional credit/reward will be applied on your next invoice / the next year.

Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No limit — you can refer as many people as you’d like. This program is planned to run for the next few years.

Can I choose between bill credit, gift card, or cash?
Yes. Where options are offered, you can choose your preferred reward type.

What is “Priority Status”? (Tier 2)
Priority Status gives you an early booking window during tax season. It also helps ensure your filing stays on track when things are busy — as long as you provide your documents and information on time.

Do I need to be in good standing to use this program?
Yes. Clients must be in good standing. If you have significantly overdue invoices, referral discounts and rewards may be voided until your account is brought up to date.

What if two people refer the same new client?
It’s first come, first served. If needed, you’re welcome to discuss it between yourselves and let us know who should receive the referral credit.

Does this apply to personal and business clients?
Yes — the referral program applies to both personal and business clients.
